The psychological principles and techniques we all will apply in this program are useful in every areas of your daily life: personal, professional, social, and emotional contexts. In this learning community we all will specifically apply the psychological concepts, techniques, and strategies to make your success in mathematics. All of us will focus on using the techniques and strategies of psychology to lessen math stress, foster confidence and increase outcomes.
Pupils in the learning community need to register for all courses to boost flexibility of time usage, foster cohesion, and a sense of belongingness among students and forge links involving the disciplines researched.
While the emphasis early in the course will be mostly on success attitudes and strategies in math, we will increase our concentrate to include comprehending the psychological principles and making use of strategies in the areas of personal awareness, interpersonal relations, connection, and work/career development. Over the course all of us will take a look at learning to study, active listening, communication skills, creative thinking, solving problems, stress mastery, goal-setting, self-motivation, group efficiency skills, and leadership.
